So, Does This Mean I Can Refer to Mr. Freilich as “Seth the Jew”?
According to Clint Eastwood, there’s just not enough racist humor anymore.
In former times we constantly made jokes about different races.
‘You can only tell them today with one hand over your mouth otherwise you will be insulted as a racist.
‘I find that ridiculous. In those earlier days every friendly clique had a “Sam the Jew” or “Jose the Mexican” - but we didn’t think anything of it or have a racist thought.
‘It was normal that we made jokes based on our nationality or ethnicity. That was never a problem.
”I don’t want to be politically correct. We’re all spending too much time and energy trying to be politically correct about everything.’
Wow, Eastwood. You know what else you had in those “earlier days”? Separate but equal. Chinese internment camps. And Jim Crowe laws. Funny times, weren’t they, old man? You know what’s still politically correct? Geriatric jokes. You know what’s great about Alzheimers, Clint? You get to meet new people every day.
Hey-O!

Japanese internment camps? I mean, if we're gonna be all righteous, we should be correct, non?

I've noticed that the people who complaint about having to be PC are usually white men. Weird!

Considering his age...am I the only one with old people in their families that say the same "inappropriate for today" crap? He's old. I'll tell you right now our kids are really going to look down on us for Gitmo...and "Will and Grace". That freaking show is the "Amos n' Andy" for homosexuals. Or "Sex in the City". Do people honestly believe all transgenders people are that obsessed with shoes and drinking? We are still making stereotypes today. Back then they were just more honest about it...not sure if that is a good or bad thing...

Let him be, he is right.
Now don't get me wrong, racism and segregation is wrong, but god damn we spend to much time kissing the asses of different races so we don't feel bad about our own races past actions.
Lets live together, for better or for worse.

Because white men are basically the only group left that it's pc to make fun of.

(Sigh) So many racists, so few white people.

i think racial/religous/non-pc jokes are important. South Park and Lisa Lampanelli are examples of that humor done right in that it breaks the tension of tip-toeing around our differences and laughing at them instead. Do you really think Jews don't know they're Jewish or blacks don't know they're black? What we really need are more jokes about white people stereotypes.
