Breaking News: God not Exempt from IRS

god.jpgOut in Pensacola, Florida (where else?) yesterday, an evangelist, Kent Hovand, and his wife were arrested and charged with 58 crimes. Among those charges, the man who is known as Dr. Dino is being prosecuted for tax evasion after failing to pay nearly $475,000 in federal income, Social Security, and Medicaid taxes, preferring to pay his employees with cash, instead.

And now why would Mr. Hovand refuse to pay taxes? Because, he argues, he is employed by God, receives no income, and has no expenses or property, despite the fact that he is also charged with evading bank reporting requirements in withdrawing over $430,000. Indeed, according to a bankruptcy judge in 1996, “The debtor apparently maintains that as a minister of God, everything he owns belongs to God and he is not subject to paying taxes to the United States on money he receives for doing God’s work.”

And, really, who are we to take issue with a Man of God. How’s this, though, Dr. Dino: You pay your back-taxes, spend the better part of the rest of your life in prison, and you’ll get an extra-big tax refund in the afterlife? That’s sound okay?

I suggest that the government release Dr. Kent Hovand and his wife imediately, as they have done no wrong except speak the truth, and the government is lashing out because of it.
This reason of arresting Mr. and Mrs. Hovand has nothing to do with tax'es. The government is only repeating what they did many years ago to Jesus Christ, who also did no wrong. They executed him for preaching the truth.
Pointus Pilot (the govener) said himself that..."I find no fault in this man Jesus, he has done no wrong;" yet he cricified him anyway to please the people.

Pointus Pilot is in hell to this day.

Your playing with fire, and What happen's when you play with fire?..."you get burned!"
