A federal judge in Florida has ruled that it’s unconstitutional for a school to require students to stand and recite the Pledge, and that students don’t need permission from their parents before being exempted. (WKMG)
The lawsuit filed by the owners of the Stop Corporate Extortion website, filed against DirecTV based on allegations that DirecTV employees and lawyers violated the Stored Communications Act by accessing the website despite a statement in the user agreement that users were not associated with DirecTV, has been thrown out by the Eleventh Circuit.
