Pastor Roger Byrd said he just wanted to make people think when he put up a sign reading “Obama, Osama — humm, are they brothers” in front of the Jonesville Church of God on Thursday.
And what was it he wanted his flock to think?
“It’s simply to cause people to realize and to see what possibly could happen if we were to get someone in there that does not believe in Jesus Christ,” he said.
Well, surely his congregation was offended and asked him to take down the sign, right?
Despite some criticism, Byrd says that the message will stay on the sign. He took the issue before his congregation Sunday night, and they decided unanimously to keep it.

Obama's religion is United Church of Christ, Pastor Byrd. I'm pretty sure that means he believes in Jesus Christ. Though maybe I'm not backward and racist enough to understand what you're getting at here. "Humm".....

how do we settle this once and for all, cause i guess just saying you believe in jesus hundreds of times isn't proof enough. Maybe if we drop him in a giant vat of holy water and he comes out sparkling that means hes christian, or does it mean hes a witch?

adeline, I think if he floats he's a witch. Christians are not naturally buoyant.

Andre, Jesus was able to WALK ON WATER. That seems pretty bouyant. Maybe you're just not christian enough to properly float.
