Ms. Smith Goes to Washington
Today, the Supreme Court will be hearing oral arguments in the case of Marshall v. Marshall, better known as Anna Nicole Smith v. Dead Guy’s Money. This fight between Smith and the son of her late husband, billionaire J. Howard Marshall II, has been going on for 10 years as each claims their stake in the late Marshall’s wealthy estate. For the legal minded, the main issue the Supremes will be looking at is whether federal courts have jurisdiction over certain probate disputes.
Contrary to prior stories, while Anna plans to attend the hearing, she has no intention of drunkenly inquiring as to whether the Justice “like my body” or to ask if they will “make me beautiful duets.”
