Can there be more than one trustee of a trust?

There can be more than one person acting as trustee of a trust. When there is a collective group of trustees, they must make joint decisions regarding the management and control of the trust and the trust property. In some states, the trustees must be in total agreement on any such decision, while in other states, only a majority of the trustees need to agree on any decision.
