Are employers required to post federal wage and hour posters?

Yes. If the employer is regulated by the Fair Labor Standards Act , then the employer must post wage and hour posters prominently in the workplace. Wage and Hour posters can be downloaded directly from the Department of Labor, or can be purchases as a part of a larger workplace compliance poster package from a number of websites or organizations devoted to Human Resources. In addition to FLSA posters, employers must put up posters informing employees of their rights under the Family and Medical Leave Act, Workplace Discrimination Laws, The Employee Polygraph Protection Act, and Job Safety and Health Laws.
