I voluntarily offered information before I received my Miranda warnings. Are my statements admissible?

Yes. A Miranda violation only occurs if you answer questions while you are in police custody, and if you haven’t been read your rights. If you volunteer information without being asked, however, there is no Miranda violation, and the statements are admissible.
