What reporting requirements are there for an LLC?

Most states require corporations to make annual or periodic filings of reports with the secretary of state (or some similar government entity). Similarly, most states require LLCs to files reports as well. Generally, LLCs must file reports in the state they are organized in as well as in any foreign states which they are qualified in. You should check the relevant state laws to determine precisely what should be filed and when you must make any such filings (for example, some states only require a filing every other year, as opposed to the annual filing requirement for corporations).
