What reporting requirements are there for a corporation?
Most states require registered corporations to file annual reports with the secretary of state. Typically, corporations must make such filings in their state of incorporation as well as in any state where they are qualified as a foreign corporation. At the time of the filing, most states also require the corporation to pay a filing fee.
Individual states may have their own additional requirements, so you should always check the relevant state law to ensure that corporation is filing the required documents and fees.
