What is the right of attribution?

The right of attribution is one of the moral rights now protected by the Copyright Act for works of visual art. The right of attribution is the right of an author to be known as the author of a work, and it means that the author can prevent others from claiming that they authored the work, and the author can prevent others from wrongly claiming that he created works that he did not actually create.
